ATLANTA – Nov. 6, 2018 – The Technology Executives Roundtable (TER), an organization of more than 120 Georgia technology leaders, announced it will honor entrepreneur, Tripp Rackley with the Ninth Annual John Imlay Leadership Award. The ceremony will be held Tues., Nov. 13 at 7 a.m. at Buckhead Club.
The John Imlay Leadership Award recognizes and celebrates individuals who have shown exceptional leadership on behalf of the Georgia high-tech community. It is named in honor of the late John Imlay, Jr., former chairman of Imlay Investments, who is credited with helping create two of Atlanta’s biggest tech industries — software and internet security.
This year’s award recipient, Tripp Rackley, is a true visionary. Over the past 20 years, he has founded and scaled multiple businesses spanning a variety of unique industries including financial services, payments, sports and entertainment, as well as automotive. Rackley’s technology has been implemented by thousands of partners and used by millions of consumers nationwide.
“Tripp’s decades of experience founding multiple award-winning technology companies and successfully growing them make him a top innovator and integral part of Georgia’s startup community,” said Karyn Mullins, president of TER. “Tripp’s entrepreneurial spirit has been invaluable to the State of Georgia where his companies have created more than $1 billion in shareholder value and over 1,000 jobs.”

The TER awards ceremony will include a fireside chat led by Bill Leonard, founder and president of Wm. Leonard & Co.
