ATLANTA – Oct. 26, 2021 – The Technology Executives Roundtable (TER), an organization of more than 120 Georgia technology leaders,will honor Kelly Gay, former SVP & GM of IoT Vertical Markets at Sierra Wireless, former Co-CEO and COO at Numerex, and former CEO and President at Omnilink Systems and KnowledgeStorm,with the 2021 John Imlay Leadership Award. The ceremony will take placeat 7 a.m.Nov. 16at the Buckhead Club.
The John Imlay Leadership Award recognizes and celebrates those who have shown exceptional leadership on behalf of the Georgia high-tech community. It is named in honor of the late John Imlay, Jr., former chairman of Imlay Investments, who is credited with helping create two of Atlanta’s biggest tech industries — software and internet security.
This year’s award recipient, Kelly Gay,has created a long-lasting impact on Atlanta’s tech scene with her demonstrated success in sales and profit growth, operational excellence, financial discipline, organizational competence, capital-raising and marketing strategy for many technology companies.Most notably, she led venture-backed, private-equity-backed and public companies to successful acquisitions by top public companiesin her executive roles at Sierra Wireless, Numerex,OmnilinkSystems, and KnowledgeStorm. She is most recently the chairwoman of OnBoard, vice chair of the Technology Association of Georgia, and immediate past chair of Venture Atlanta.

In addition to her contribution to building Atlanta’s tech scene, Kelly is also committed to giving back to the Atlanta community through her service on the boards of 1105 Media, Venture Atlanta, the Atlanta CEO Council, ATDC, OnBoard, Launchpad2X, and Acivilate.
