ATLANTA, Sept. 13, 2016 –The Technology Executives Roundtable (TER), an association that consists of more than 120 CEOs, CFOs and general managers in Georgia’s technology community, today announced that four executives — David Brinkman, president and CEO of AssureSign; Baha Zeidan, co-founder and CEO of Azalea Health; Walter Czarnecki, president and CEO of OmniMetrix; and Michael Whitacre, partner of Frazier & Deeter, a TER corporate sponsor — have been appointed to the organization’s Board of Directors.
“For more than 20 years, TER has provided Atlanta’s technology executives with a thought provoking environment for members to converse and debate with other technology professionals about complex issues,” said Eric Christ, president of TER and CEO of PracticeAdmin. “As TER expands, we regularly add premier technology executives to our board who have a deep knowledge of Georgia’s technology community. These four executives are valuable additions to our leadership team, who strengthen TER’s role as the leading executive technology forum in Georgia.”
All four executives will be recognized as new board members at the Sept. 20 meeting, which is a panel discussion on international expansion do’s and don’ts on legal, accounting and tax issues. In January 2008, Brinkman co-founded AssureSign LLC and currently serves as president and CEO. Leading up to the launch of AssureSign LLC, Brinkman was involved in the development of some of the most innovate applications available in the electronic signature software industry. Brinkman also serves on the board for the Electronic Signatures and Records Association (ESRA) and previously acted as its chairman. ESRA is a Washington, DC-based trade association providing policy and education for government and industry.
As co-founder and CEO of Azalea Health, Zeidan is the leading force behind new technology development and responsible for driving the company’s strategic direction. In collaboration with his team, he ensures the company is on track to meet its product development, customer service, sales, and community goals. Zeidan is a strong proponent of health IT, cloud computing, mobile development, device computing, and big data analytics.
Czarnecki is president and CEO of OmniMetrix and has more than a decade of management, strategy and P&L leadership experience building high-growth companies in technology and energy across global markets. Prior to OmniMetrix, Czarnecki served as VP of Business Development at Acorn Energy, OmniMetrix’s parent company, and as Director of Corporate Strategy at Ener1, Inc.
With more than 30 years of experience in public accounting auditing and taxation, Whitacre is a partner with Frazier & Deeter, a long-time corporate sponsor of TER. In his role, Whitacre works with middle-market business clients in both the public and private sectors, including private equity backed entities. Prior to joining Frazier & Deeter, Whitacre served in various local, national and international leadership roles with BDO.
